Charlotte Trip

David , the kids, and I recently made one of our routine trips to Charlotte.  We still use the pediatrician that we've had since Amelia was born, even though we live an hour away!  It was time for Jude's 2 year check-up and we always try to make the most of our trip by visiting friends and family.  After the appointment we stopped by April's old, yet in a new building, school.  It was great to see Bruce and hear that the school was growing and doing well.  Next we had lunch with cousin Kim, who is due January 20th with a baby boy!  We spent the afternoon visiting with friend and former coworker, Valerie Griffin and her daughter Talitha.  We had a great evening and a yummy homemade dinner with the Normans.  My favorite quote of the day was when I asked Jude: "Who do you love?" to which he replied "Ummmm, that guy" as he pointed to Mark Norman!  We got home late and as we drove home we realized that we had left beloved Basil at the Normans-she arrived by mail on Monday!

Kid Senses Museum

Recently our Mommies and Little People group finished off our senses unit with a trip to a great hands-on museum in Rutherfordton-yes that is a mouthful.  Here are a few pictures and a short clip of our fun:

This one's for you McCann's.  Is this how Ellie eats her rice and beans?
